From a working estimate to a client quote

On JanitorMath, the calculator estimate is your working cost-and-price calculation. This template presents your chosen selling price with the client, scope and schedule. Review those details before sharing, and agree how changes or extra work will be priced.

How to use the cleaning quote template

  1. Work out a price for the agreed visit with the cleaning estimate calculator. If you need to estimate task time first, use the cleaning-time calculator.
  2. Enter your business, client, site and quote date. Prices here are in USD per visit, before applicable taxes.
  3. Specify the service days and arrival window. Select only tasks included on every visit; put weekly or periodic work in Scope details with its own schedule.
  4. Add exclusions, supplies responsibilities, payment timing, access arrangements and a quote expiry when relevant.
  5. Review the preview, then choose Download PDF to save your quote. You can also choose Print quote when your browser supports printing. The editor highlights missing required information first.

Your entries stay in the page during this visit. There is no autosave, so leaving or reloading may lose your work. The PDF is created in your browser from the details you entered. This page does not send the quote to a client or save an online copy.

Move the agreed scope into a job workflow

If you are evaluating software to schedule the work, follow our Zoho FSM estimate-to-appointment walkthrough. It shows a fictional cleaning job carried from an estimate into a work order and one scheduled appointment. Details must be entered manually; this template does not sync with Zoho.

A short scope example

Hypothetical example — not a recommended price or service schedule.

Cedar Lane Office has Tuesday and Friday visits at $180 per visit, before applicable taxes. Agreed waste bins and accessible reception and office floors are included on each visit. Meeting-room interior glass is included on Friday only. The client provides restroom consumables.

Exterior windows, carpet extraction and moving furniture are excluded. The Friday-only glass task belongs in Scope details, rather than a checkbox that describes work included on every visit.

Once the scope is agreed, use the commercial cleaning checklist and blank worksheet to record what is due and completed at each visit.
